Define LOVE

For many have not truly understand what love is. The world defines love base on their understanding of feelings and emotions. But, what is the true definition of love? I believe no one can clearly understand and fathom love for it is the greatest of all. God is love.

Jesus came for us to understand it. Why does His presence be so significant in understanding love? Before going to that, remember that men have sinned, therefore a man should also pay the cost. But why God did not chose Abraham, Noah, or any Prophet to pay the cost? Jesus is the only One who could do that. He is the only One who could conquer death that we may have life. He is the Son of God.

More of that, He also wanted to show His great love for us; and the Bible clearly revealed these things to us. As how much would it cost? It is His very own life.

And I asked myself – is this not enough for me to give my life to Him? But why, at some point in our life, we still fall down and doubted this love?

We have to understand this – How much do we know Him? How much do we know of His love? The more we get to know Him, the more we get to know His love; the more we get to know this love He has for us, the more we think of Him every single day.

We can never truly offer our lives to him if we fail to understand His love. His word says, “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is LOVE.”
