Prov 3:5: Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Trust is something that is very hard to give to anybody. It requires time, deeper relationship, and a person’s good qualities for someone to give his trust. The definition of TRUST according to Encarta Dictionary is, “to place confidence in somebody or in somebody’s good qualities, especially fairness, truth, honor, or ability”.
The Bible is very clear to this instruction, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding”. Well, a person who doesn’t even know the Lord or does not have a relationship with Him would hardly put their confidence in Him.
What makes believers put their confidence in Jesus? It is the knowledge and the encounter with Jesus that makes this “trusting” possible. It is about the character of God and experiencing Him that builds this trust.

Who is God? The Bible clearly revealed to us the character of God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus came that we may know the Father. He came because He wanted to build a deeper and an intimate relationship with us. God loves us and He wants us to put our trust in Him for He has the best and perfect plan for everyone.
It’s by trusting Him that we may find true comfort and peace. God never fails even when we do.
