Happy Sunday!

After the Sunday service in the morning I met with the Praise and Worship team at the church in the afternoon. We talk about our task, schedules and commitment in the ministry.

After meeting the Praise and Worship team I met with the Campus Leaders. We talk about the problems and issues in the organization that need immediate response. We cited possible reasons why the organization is facing these kind of problems and it falls on the commitments of the leaders.

Indeed, Commitment plays a big role in the ministry. When a person fails to do his commitment, it affects the team. It affects the organization, and it causes real and serious problem.

The danger of this is that the committed leaders may get mad and aggressive in reminding their teammates about it. Worse, it may/will cause disagreements and quarrels among the concern individuals.

A leader in our organization raise her hand and said, commitment is something that is beyond our control. But we can pray for them.

Right.

Commitment.

It is not something that shall be given, out of impulse, condemnation and rebuke.

Yes, we can remind our co-leaders and teammates about it. We can discuss it with them. We can encourage them. We can urge them to get back. Move & be activated again.

But all of these, we must do with gentleness & LOVE.

Jesus is saddened to see the team and the organization falling to the pit but His response with this will still and will always be love.

Pray, discuss, remind (and rebuke if needed) about their commitments with LOVE.

Surely, you will not waste your energy running after them and forcing them to get back on track.

For a person’s response to gentleness and love will always be…gentleness & love as well.

Pero ikaw, kumusta commitment mo?
